    RPM-owned / Proprietary development framework

    Business Map

    Reflection, connected to a plan.

A proprietary RPM Digital Business resource for personal and professional development, organized as a tangible planning framework.

    RPM's role

Created by RPM Digital Business as a proprietary personal and professional development framework.

Framework Development · Structured Planning Resource

    Project context

Business Map connects self-assessment, goals, actions, personal positioning, audience and relationships in one guided resource. It is a structured planning tool, not a software service.

    The challenge

    Give ambition a practical structure.

Ideas for personal and professional growth can remain scattered. The challenge was to create a process for understanding the current position, identifying priorities and connecting a desired direction to deliberate actions.

    RPM's decision

    One framework, not separate worksheets.

RPM connected seven components: Skills & Competencies, Strategic Action Plan, Goal Setting, Digital Identity & Personal Brand Tree, Personal & Professional SWOT Analysis, Persona Definition, and Networking & Strategic Contacts. Each adds a perspective to the same planning process.

01 / Understand the starting point

    Make capabilities and context visible.

Skills & Competencies prompts participants to identify strengths and development areas. Personal & Professional SWOT Analysis adds external opportunities and threats, placing that self-assessment within a broader environment.

The approved product visual shows the printed framework and fold-out worksheet pages. The resource itself is the proof artifact, not evidence of measurable participant outcomes.

    02 / Define direction & action

A destination, with steps toward it.

Goal Setting makes ambitions more specific and realistic. The Strategic Action Plan connects those objectives to concrete actions and a timeline, giving participants a place to organize priorities and revisit their plan.

    03 / Positioning, environment & audience

Connect identity with who it needs to reach.

The Digital Identity & Personal Brand Tree brings values, capabilities and experience into a personal positioning exercise. Persona Definition records an audience's characteristics, interests, challenges and objectives. Together with SWOT, these exercises connect self-understanding to communication and context.

    04 / Strategic relationships & connected framework

    Relationships belong in the plan.

Networking & Strategic Contacts makes relevant people, companies and professional connections visible. RPM organized the components into a guided format that instructors and participants can use as a shared reference for reflection, discussion and practical application.

    What changed

    A structured resource for development.

RPM delivered a Business Map that connects reflection, planning, positioning and execution. The tangible change is a coherent place to document capabilities, objectives, actions, context and relationships; measurable career or business results are not claimed.

    The perspective

    Different perspectives. One working reference.

The framework keeps the starting point, intended direction and next actions connected, so the plan can be revisited rather than remaining a collection of separate exercises.
